Lessons and Tours
Three ways to sail with me
Everything runs off one boat, so the calendar is smaller than a sailing school and the attention is larger. I teach, I skipper, I scrub the hull. There is nobody to hand you off to.
Private lesson
Two hours on the water for one or two students. Points of sail, tacking, and how to get out of trouble you made yourself. 180 dollars for one student, 220 for two.
ASA 101 certification
Three sessions across two weekends, ending with the written and practical exam. You leave with Basic Keelboat certification that charter companies recognise. 650 dollars, materials included.
Sunset tour
Two and a half hours, up to four passengers, no instruction unless you ask for it. Good for birthdays and for people who want the lake without homework. 260 dollars for the boat.
Why learn here
A small operation cannot hide behind a curriculum. If the lesson is bad you know exactly who to blame, and so do I.

- Two students maximum
- ASA certified, 101 through 103
What a lesson includes
Life jackets, foul weather gear in whatever sizes I have on board, and coffee from a thermos older than some of my students.

- Free reschedule when I call the weather
- Slip is five minutes from Marshall Park
